Bea’s a flop in big movie role

IT WAS a big night for the cast and crew of the new film Confetti when Princess Beatrice turned out, left, for the UK premiere in London last week. But their excitement would be short-lived.

The movie is based on director Ann Hu’s life bringing up a daughter with dyslexia, which Beatrice also has, and talking to me at the event, the Princess said: ‘As dyslexics I think it’s important we all support the film.’ But then, having had her photograph taken, she left without watching it! Perhaps Bea had to get home for bedtime stories with her one-yearold daughter Sienna.
