Autumnwatch 2022

Here comes some seasonal viewing to warm the heart. As the temperatures start to drop, the Autumnwatch team returns with a series of reports from the natural kingdom across Britain showing over four consecutive nights.

Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan are based at the delightful Wild Ken Hill nature reserve in Norfolk. There an array of thermal cameras are poised to bring us a glimpse of the nocturnal world, while we also see beavers busy preparing for the onset of winter.

Meanwhile, Iolo Williams and Gillian Burke (far right with Packham and Strachan) are in Wales soaking up the spectacle of the amazing Teifi Marshes nature reserve. We can look forward to deer locking antlers during the seasonal rut, and also a sight of one of the biggest bat roosts in the entire country. ★★★★★
