These foods cuts fatty liver risk by 68%

Women who have the highest intakes of choline are 68 percent less likely to develop fatty liver disease than those with the lowest levels, report researcher­s in the Journal of Nutrition. That’s because choline, a nutrient found in foods like eggs, liver, edamame and legumes, helps move excess fat out of the liver, preventing the condition, which is marked by fatigue, weight gain and abdominal pain.
