Easier way to zest citrus
You love the pop of brightness that orange, lime and lemon zest add to your cakes and muffins, but the soft, thin skin can be hard to get a grip on, especially if your zester is dull. The easy fix: Freeze citrus for 15 minutes before using. The firmed-up surface will be easier to zest, plus the peels will retain more of their oils to deliver a bigger flavor punch.
