Dropping in to say hi

Mersin, Turkey—This Oriental tree frog was relaxing on a branch in Mersin when a friendly lesser spotted fritillary butterfly dropped by to say hello. The photographer who caught this moment says the laid-back frog gazed curiously at the green-and-white–speckled visitor, who then climbed over the frog’s head before gracefully fluttering away.
