Piling a handful of grapes and a lovely leafy name tag atop each plate offers welcoming winery flair—for pennies! To do: For each, fold a napkin into a rectangle, then set atop a dinner plate. Add a handful of washed red grapes and a stem of tiny green grapes (like perlette seedless grapes) to plate. Jot a name onto a craft-store leaf in gold marker, then tuck into grapes to finish.

Dress up the table with a delightful grape duo

Put the pretty tricolor hues of fresh grapes on full display in a pair of made-in-minutes cup accents. To do: Add several varieties of grapes to two green glass water goblets until full. For each, glue a small square of cardboard onto a wooden skewer. Paint a grape or leaf motif onto the square and stake the skewer into the goblet.

Set the mood for aah with charming winery style

The key to creating an effortlessly laid-back, vineyard-inspired gathering in your own yard: combining artisanal tabletop elements (like stoneware bowls and servers full of gourmet appetizers) with fragrant flowering herb accents. Here, a wooden patio table is topped with soothing blue linen place mats, neutral plates and sage-hued napkins. Lining the tableau with a “runner” composed of wine, glass bottles of sparkling water, a bread bowl and a charcuterie board filled with meats and cheeses furthers the relaxed, rustic (and delicious!) setting. The no-fuss extras: twinkling votives, lovely bundles of fresh lavender set atop plates and a trio of sweetly scented potted herbs. It’s a perfect spot to toast the day with loved ones!
