Key to an even happier marriage

It’s obvious how those thoughtful, loving gestures between you and your husband (like an encouraging text on a tough day) make you feel closer, and now a study published in the Journal of Personality proves that kindness is the characteristic people most desire in a partner. More than 2,700 participants from around the world chose from a set of attributes like humor, attractiveness, financial success and creativity, and kindness emerged as the top trait people wanted in their significant other. The researchers believe this is because being kind and empathetic allows us to build a strong foundation for a successful bond.
