Women are better at reading minds than men

When you and husband disagree about what a friend is thinking after a dispute, chances are you’re on target, say researchers in Psychological Assessment. They assessed volunteers’ ability to see issues from someone else’s perspective and understand what a person is thinking and found that women were better than men at detecting subtle indicators of a person’s intent. Separate research suggests this could be due to women’s ability to pick up on emotional cues.
