You know making up with your spouse after a fight eases stress, but Oregon State University researchers say resolving the argument before bed has even bigger benefits for your well-being. They analyzed data from more than 2,000 participants and found that folks who resolved an argument before day’s end had a significant reduction in negative emotions, had about half the festering spats as their counterparts and headed into the following day with no lingering negativity.
