Here’s another reason to celebrate getting older: Selflessness increases over time, say researchers in the journal Psychological

Science. They had groups of younger and older adults make a series of decisions about whether to put in physical effort to benefit a stranger (like helping plant a garden) and found that folks who were 55 to 85 were more willing to help others than those ages 18 to 36. Investigators say empathy and concern for others increases as we age. And doing good is proven to make you feel good!
