Fashion a watering can for pennies

You go to water your pretty garden blooms and realize your metal watering can has sprung a leak. Instead of buying a new one, use an empty milk jug! To do: Use a small nail to poke about a dozen holes in the cap. (This may require a hammer, in which case, take the project safely outside.) Then fill with water and screw on the cap. Just enough water will flow out of the holes to keep your plants hydrated without drowning them.
