Touch up a fence sans muss or fuss

Painting or staining the bottom of a fence can be tricky—you end up dripping paint all over the lawn or sweeping bits of dirt or grass onto the wet wood. To make things easier, place a dustpan at the bottom of the fence and slide it across the grass as you move from one section to the next. The pan will catch any paint drips plus prevent dirt or grass from sticking to the freshly painted wood. Easy!
