Storm over Tumut Plains

STAGE 1 Using Storm Blue Colourfix paper, I have quickly washed on diluted gouache to the areas I wanted to colour, making sure to leave the paper colour in some areas. Note how thin the paint is.

STAGE 2 I begin to apply the first layer of pastel over the dried underpainting. I make sure to apply my lightest and darkest tones or values.

STAGE 3 A little more pastel and a little detail in my focal area around the end of the road.
