FUN FACTS ABOUT DOGS AND HORSES

Dogs are more closely related to wolves than they are to coyotes. The reward centers in a dog’s brain respond similarly to those of a human when it receives praise. The draft horses known as “Belgians” in the USA are known as “Brabants” in Belgium. Draft horses were originally bred for carrying soldiers wearing suits of armor. The world’s tallest horse is a Belgian named “Big Jake,” over 20 hands high, almost 7 feet at the shoulder.
