STAGE 4 PLACING THE FIGURES

I paint the girl with the yellow shirt and the kneeling girl, and then I paint a figure with dark, reddish leggings on the far side of the horse. I establish the two-dimensional shape first, making sure to get the big gesture, then once I have that, I figure out the three-dimensional form and subforms. Next thing will be to paint the lead rope. Having one of the dads holding the horse in position is essential.
