Look at the cover of this issue and tell me what you see. What word stands out to you the most? Well, when we do this, let me tell you what stands out to us: one word, international. You see, there are plenty of art magazines out there. Plenty of magazines where you can see work created by artists in their studios. But ours is the only magazine being published today that takes in the entire world, that visits studios not just in the United States but also on every continent.

Take this issue for example. Open it up and start thumbing through the pages. What will you see? Articles from artists living in Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. And, remember, that’s just in this issue! But, now turn to the still life challenge and there’s even more! Entries from Malaysia, Greece, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden. And why is this?

Well, simply, it’s because we take the time to listen. We take the time to open up to the artists in these countries and want to see what they are creating in their studios each day. It’s a simple gesture but it’s our way of connecting artists across the world to one another. That is the beauty of what we do. Art is a visual language and it is something that everyone understands the minute they see it. It works across language barriers, cultural barriers and borders.

So, open the magazine and take a quick worldwide tour of art being created right now, at this moment, in studios around the globe! And then of course let me know what you think!
