Prices are coming down

Steve: Hey , Robert , let's go out for lunch today.

Robert: I can't. I have to brown bag it today.

Steve: Are you hurting for money?

Robert: Yes . I have to live on a tight budget for awhile.

Steve: So many things are so expensive.

Robert: I know exactly what you mean.

Steve: Well , at least gasoline prices are coming down a little.

Robert: That 's true. It's too bad we can't drink gasoline.

Steve: Now that's funny.

Robert: Enjoy your lunch. I'll see you later.

“I have to brown bag it until I get my next pay check.”

“I'm hurting for money, so I'm just renting movies instead of going to see them.”

► a tight budget: 빡빡한예산. “She's on a very tight budget. She's saving money to buy a car.” California International University
