What’s in the frame?

-

Online giant Planet-X stepped into save Italian brand Viner’s name from obscurity. The RS is the lightest frame to bear the Viner badge, weighing 795g (XL/57cm). It’s made using a proprietary blend of carbon for an understated yet aggressive bike with a 73.5-degree head angle and slacker 72.5 seat angle. Handmade by 40-year-old Italian company, Basso, the carbon Venta is based around classic Italian racing geometry – 73.5-degree head and 73-degree seat angle. Basso’s engineers worked on the material selection to dial in compliance to open up the racefocus to lean towards endurance riding.
