How does it ride?
The ride quality is decent, with a solid, firm feel across rougher surfaces; the Prologo saddle and Italian brand Selcof bar take the sting out of any road buzz. The sharp handling requires your attention when sweeping down descents, as it needs far less rider input to make big direction changes. The Venta is as surprising as it is understated in its finish, the tight wheelbase and snappy steering put you in mind of a thoroughbred racer, but the subtle compliance in the chassis, especially the fork, adds a layer that subdues road noise without making you feel isolated from the road itself.
