Skyrim is packed with lore, but do you actually read it? With so much adventuring to do, who has the time to sit around and leaf through history books? Far better to pick one up, open it in the hope of a skill boost, then cast it aside without reading a word and

get back to the important stuff: kiting soldiers into giants’ aggro range, dragon-shouting crockery off tables, stuff like that. Real life, of course, is dreadfully boring, so hats off to Titan Books for taking all that in-world lore out of Skyrim and putting into a three-volume set of books packed with official artwork. The only questionable thing about it is the timing: why put this out now? Perhaps
