Known as a hotbed for luxury, Dubai also has no shortage of watch shops. In fact, the passion of this city for fine timepieces was enough to spur the establishment of the Dubai Watch Week event, hosted at the Dubai International Financial Centre and The Dubai Mall in partnership with, among others, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie. A number of major brands—from Jaeger-LeCoultre to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and more plus independent ones like Hautlence—have all become part of this event. Interactive sessions like workshops, master classes, VIP events and forums are also available for well-heeled and deep-pocketed watch enthusiasts.
