If you haven’t fallen for the octo yet, now is the perfect time to do exactly that. Bulgari has certainly come a long way since they first adopted the intriguing case shape designed by the late Gérald Genta and fitted it with the world’s thinnest tourbillon, which, by the way, is also available in the “ultranero” edition. This Italian word means ultrablack. The basic version of this timepiece is the Solotempo: 1mm bigger than the Finissimo (the high complication piece) but equally tasteful with pink gold for the hands, hour indexes and crown. The rubber strap might be an acquired taste for some, but, then again, all eyes should rest pretty much on the geometrically exceptional and DLC-treated case.
