the new black, it would seem, yet Zenith took that to the next level with Havana brown.
The open-heart construction on the dial between 8 and 12 o’clock is relatively new, being only about two years old, for the El Primero. This one, however, is still intact with the chronograph feature (minute sub-dial at 3 and the hour dial at 6 o’clock), a signature of this particular line. What the open-heart frame does is showcase the “beating” of the El Primero itself. Add to that the yellow and polka dot lines in between 12 and 1 o’clock, and you’ll easily see that wearing this watch really comes with a lot of bragging rights.
For a real watch collector, it’s worth mentioning that this is Cohiba’s first watch ever, and also the first one by Zenith for the cigar company. All in all, this Chronomaster is the first of its kind in more ways than one.
