main inspiration for two new timepieces. These boats were typically small but fast, made of polished wood and chrome. To encapsulate this spirit, the Runabout watches are slim and crafted with two dial tones: silver and brown. Although Frederique Constant calls them sailing watches, they certainly don’t disappoint when worn far away from the coastline.

The reasonably priced watch is presented in a gift box that also contains a miniature wooden powerboat reminiscent of the yachts. This is, indeed, a prime example of “affordable luxury” in all its glory.
