DA MAN - Caliber

One of the most bedazzling attributes of a diamond is scintillation: The intense multicolored sparkles from within the stone that’s visible when the diamond is moved. Forty years after its debut, Chopard’s Happy Diamonds watch continues to highlight this phenomenon with the brand’s signature moving diamonds. This year’s rendition retains the cushion shape of the original Happy Diamonds model and features rows of diamonds on the bezel and on an inner ring. The true highlight of the piece, however, is the set of 15 mobile diamonds that can move freely over a white motherof-pearl background and around the small sub-dial in the middle. In hindsight, the name “Happy Diamonds” couldn’t have been more appropriate, as it embodies the whimsical nature of the design and the absolute luxury of over five carats of diamonds on a single timepiece.
