Since its opening nine years ago, Ju-ma-na Restaurant &

Bar has impressed many diners with its modern culinary creations. True to its name which means pearl, the restaurant is predominan­tly white in colour. Through the outdoor terrace as well as lofty floor-to-ceiling glass windows from the elegant dining room, one can enjoy unbeatable views of the spectacula­r waves of the Indian Ocean.

For special occasions, Ju-ma-na Restaurant & Bar is undoubtedl­y the place to be. Previously only open for dinner, it’s now available for a leisurely lunch too. Helmed by chef de cuisine, Oscar Wijaya, whose stints include Robuchon au Dôme, IDAM by Alain Ducasse, and The Tasting Room, guests will be in for a treat when they book the three-course lunch menu.

Opt for the refreshing Oven-baked Beetroot Salad with Grainy Mustard Orange Sorbet as a starter For the second course, choose between a savoury French Onion Soup with Onion Sorbet and a scrumptiou­s Prawn Gyoza Soba with consommé infused konbu. Main course picks include Black Cod Miso, Wagyu Beef with Shallot Balsamic or a Lightly Poached Yellow Chicken. Enhance the experience by ordering a refreshing bottle of Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc from its well-stocked wine cellar that spans from Chile to France. The lunch menu is available daily at Rp760,000 per person, providing you with an opportunit­y to experience the luxury of Banyan Tree Ungasan, Bali.

Afterward, join the daily Swig and Nibble (Rp350,000 per person) soirée where you can enjoy two cocktails and canapé while waiting for the sun to set.
