LOUVRE HOTELS GROUP JOINS THE WORLD’S TOP FIVE HOTEL GROUPS
Chinese Jin Jiang International Hotels Development Co., owner of Louvre Hotels Group, has acquired an 81 percent stake in Keystone Lodging Holdings Ltd., the parent company of the Plateno Group, a large Chinese hospitality group. The deal has a value of nearly USD 1.6 billion. Following this acquisition, Jin Jiang grabs the fifth place worldwide, ahead of its competitor Accorhotels. Louvre Hotels Group has over 1,100 hotels with a capacity of over 95,000 guest rooms in 48 countries. Its six labels: Première Classe, Campanile, Kyriad, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip, cover different market segments, with offers ranging from one- to five-star properties.
