The National Rural Tourism Forum 2016: Rural Lebanon in Motion

The forum focused on the Strategy for Rural Tourism Development for Lebanon, which was developed with the support of USAID and launched by the Ministry of Tourism in February 2015. Since 2012, the United States has invested USD 2.9 million to boost rural tourism by supporting local organizations and the private sector.
