Ongoing training and education will be offered to you to achieve our goal of meeting the needs of all our palliative care patients All roles will require some travel within the Otago region, therefore a current driver’s licence is essential. With significant reforms in 3 Waters imminent, this newly created role will oversee all operational and maintenance activities on the Council's reticulated water, stormwater and wastewater network infrastructure. You will supervise the daily activities of the 3 Waters network field staff and support asset management processes and decision making. If you are technically savvy, can build strong working relationships with key support contractors and businesses and have at least five years experience in the 3 Waters industry, we would love to hear from you. Registered Nurses - Community Care Coordinators (2) Permanent Part-Time - 64 hours per fortnight (South Otago) Permanent Part-Time – 48 hours per fortnight (Dunedin based) We are looking for a person who holds either a Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or similar or a Bachelor of Engineering. If you have an open and inquisitive mind, can think through a range of issues and have sound judgment, then delve further into this role. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience. These positions will work through a rotating roster Monday to Friday business hours. Experience in caring for people with a terminal illness would be advantageous. One position will predominately work with our South Otago patients, therefore suitable applicants from South Otago would be at an advantage, however applications from Dunedin-based nurses will be considered. Management Accountant Another newly created role, this position offers an exciting opportunity to move into the local government sector and support a large and complex capital works programme being undertaken. Counsellors (2) 2 Permanent Part-Time - totalling 80 hours per fortnight Applicants will need relevant professional certification at tertiary level and be a full member of NZAC. Experience in caring for people experiencing grief, loss and bereavement is essential. The position is shared to ensure consistent cover, the FTE split will be negotiated with the successful applicants. A fundamental part of this role will be providing sound financial management support and advice to budget holders for decision-making including guidance on the development of business cases, budget management, reporting, robust financial analysis and forecasting. You will also report on financial information relating to capital projects, prepare financial modelling with a demonstrated ability to understand and clearly explain financial transactions. Spiritual Care Coordinator Permanent Part-Time - 48 hours per fortnight Applicants must be a recognised leader in the provision of spiritual care. Due regard and sensitivity to the beliefs, values, cultural and diverse backgrounds of patients’ whānau and families is pivotal to this role. Experience in caring for people experiencing grief, loss and bereavement is essential. A tertiary level accounting qualification is essential with either membership of, or working towards membership of CAANZ preferred.
