1 OFF ROAD ADVENTURE Holidaying on the remote Union Island in the Grenadines, my preferred holiday read was of interest to Richard, a water taxi driver. Although he’s never had the need for a car he was blown away by the McLaren 720S, but what really caught his eye was the Land Rover Discovery. SIMON EGGLESTON 5 PONY EXPRESS The choice of Ford Mustang hire car for our road trip around California may have been a tad clichéd, but you can’t argue with the choice of literature on the dashboard. KEERON FU 6 CALM AFTER THE STORM The reward after a lat-out sunrise run to the airport across London, Uber driver sniing out the grip and teasing every ounce from his Sharan. Beautiful. JOHN HOGAN 7 IN THE HOOD Engine? What engine? What sort of car is this? KEITH MOORCROFT 8 THE HEIGHT OF STYLE On a trip to Italy I got to visit the former Fiat Lingotto factory in Turin. I had the chance to use the magic lift: key in, turn and it automatically takes me to the test track on the roof. Awesome.
