ENHANCE THE LIGHT
Post-production can serve to enrich the light you capture in your composition
When we look at photographs depicting wonderful light, it can be easy to assume that the photographer simply stood at the lookout and pressed the button, or that the subject just walked into the window light and looked at the camera. From time to time photographers are lucky enough for this to happen, but more often than not, the initial capture is followed by post-production in order to enhance the image further and produce the desired atmosphere. How much post-production is used to enhance an image is a matter of personal taste, but there are few if any RAW files that cannot be improved with a program like Lightroom, Capture One or Photoshop.
