Manfrotto’s new FastTrack-8 PL is a handy sling bag with a neat trick – an integrated camera strap. Once this is attached you can open the bag confident that the camera won’t fall to the ground – you just need to pull the strap to extract it and start shooting. Once you’ve finished, you can carry the camera on the strap, or stow it in the bag.

The FastTrack-8 is designed with mirrorless cameras in mind and the camera section can house a model like the Panasonic G9, Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Fujifilm X-T2 or Sony a7 III with a kit lens mounted. In addition, the side-opening top section can hold a couple of spare lenses, even accommodating a Fujifilm 50-140mm or Olympus 40-150mm. There’s also a small zip-close pocket to take your wallet or memory cards and a larger pouch at the back for a tablet.
