KIRBY, Jeremy William July 15, 1975 - June 11, 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy William Kirby. He is survived by his loving wife Melanie, parents Lloyd and Nancy, brother Tim Kirby and sister Jenn Kirby, daughters Aidan, Jaden and Téva, Melanie's parents Roy and and Kelly and their significan­t others Annie and Wayne and her brothers, Clint, Chad, Jake and sister Jordan, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. If so desired donations can be made to the "Go Fund Me Page" set up for Melanie and the girls. A celebratio­n of life will be planned at a later date. CONROY, Amy Gertrude Frances January 6, 1918 - June 14, 2020 After blessing Amy with 102 years, her Lord and Saviour enfolded Amy in God’s loving embrace. Her gentle spirit and welcoming heart endeared her to everyone she met. Predecease­d by her husband Don (1990), son John (1958), and siblings Mildred, Betty, and Richard, Amy leaves behind her beloved children, Maureen (Arlo), Kathy, and Michael (Theresa); 7 cherished grandchild­ren; 4 precious greatgrand­children; as well as nieces, nephews, their families, and many friends. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Drive and Northland Drive NW) on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. (COVID protocols require masks and social distancing). (403) 265-1199 MCCOLLUM, John Turquand "Turq" May 12, 1923 - Toronto, Ontario June 14, 2020 - Calgary, Alberta The Venerable JT (Turq) Mccollum, Retired Archdeacon of the Mackenzie, passed away at the Colonel Belcher in Calgary on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the age of 97 years. Turq married Joan Mccollum (nee Watson) in 1953 and they began their life of service to the Church in 1954 in Fort Smith, NT. After a move south to Beaverlodg­e, AB, they were called north again in 1970 to Hay River, NT with their four children and remained there until 1988. Joan and Turq moved to Calgary to enjoy their retirement. Turq is survived by his son Peter (Vicki) Mccollum of Whitehorse, YT, daughters, Jenny (Stan) Pope of Hay River, NT, and Kathy (John) Sperry of Hay River, NT; seven grandchild­ren and three great-grandchild­ren. Turq was predecease­d by his loving wife, Joan who passed away September 21, 2014, by his daughter Maggie Mackinnon and grandson Barney Pope. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Hay River where he and Joan will be interred. They are returning to the North they loved and where they devoted their lives in service to the Lord. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Turq’s name can be made directly to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church (1121 - 14th Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2R 0P3). JORGENSON, Catherine (Cathy) Mae January 4, 1936 -Yellow Grass, Saskatchew­an June 10, 2020 - Calgary, Alberta Catherine Jorgenson (nee Murray) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 84 after a valiant struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Cathy lived her adult life mostly in Calgary with many winters in Mesa, AZ. She had a passion for music and was a great conversati­onalist. She loved her time spent with family the most and she will be greatly missed. Cathy is survived by her children, Shane Jorgenson (Velda) and Shelley Adams (Barry); granddaugh­ters, Maddie, Kim (Matt), Kelsey and Victoria; and great-granddaugh­ters, Bella, Katie and Rosie; brother Ron Murray (Donna) and sister, Lynn Phillips. She was predecease­d by her beloved husband, Gordon Jorgenson and her parents. Funeral Services will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitalit­y Centre at the Funeral Home.
