A GLASS OF SUNSHINE
“Wine is sunlight, held together by water,” suggested astronomer Galileo Galilei centuries ago. Upon tasting the Cape Point Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, we can’t help but agree – it’s like sunshine in a glass. With notes of fresh apricot, granadilla sorbet, orange blossom and a hint of fynbos on the nose, this wine is drinking really well now, and will go down a charm with seafood dishes – like the tangy tomato-and-prawn risotto featured here. It also has excellent ageing potential – save it for a year or two and you can look forward to lovely tertiary aromas of dried fruit. Drink it now, or drink it later, you can’t go wrong. cpv.co.za.
