ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Somer Sivrioğlu spent the first 25 years of his life in Istanbul before moving to Australia, where he owns the Efendy and Anason contemporary Turkish restaurants in Sydney. He’s also a MasterChef Turkey judge. In this new edition of his book, Anatolia – Aventures in Turkish Eating (R460, distributed in South Africa by Jonathan Ball), co-authored with journalist David Dale, Somer features 140 dishes covering everything from celebratory recipes to streetfood, light meals and meze platters.
