QUINCE TARTE TATIN

From the pantry: La Tête crème Anglaise 200 ml

Quince Restaurant preserved quince

1 litre

Heat 2 T butter in an ovenproof pan, then add half the quince to cover the base of the pan. Simmer for 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat, cover the quince with 1 x 250 g sheet Woolworths puff pastry. Cut a cross into the centre of the pastry, then bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes, or until golden. To serve, invert onto a serving plate and serve with the crème Anglaise. Serves 6 WINE: Woolworths Spier Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2019
