DECISION INBOUND ON NEW ENGINE

Tibor Bak says he can’t yet reveal the exact format of his Ricardodesigned hydrogen piston engine (“it is a small, multi-cylinder design”) because experimentation with various layouts is still under way. Research should be concluded in about three months. Whatever the outcome, Kincsem’s designers intend to give the car a high-performance engine sound that rises and falls with speed and load as if it had a regular multi-speed gearbox.
