Vladimir Tarasenko completed a hat trick by scoring 16 seconds into overtime for the streaking Blues. Blake Wheeler scored the go-ahead goal with 3:55 left and Connor Hellebuyck made 35 saves for the Jets. Marcus Johansson scored twice for the Devils, who prevented the Hurricanes from moving into a playoff spot. Dominik Kahun had two goals and an assist as the Blackhawks won their seventh consecutive game. The Islanders’ Devon Toews scored the tiebreaking goal and Anders Lee dived to block a shot late in the game. Alexandar Georgiev had a career-high 55 saves as the Rangers snapped the Maple Leafs’ four-game streak. The Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov had two goals and an assist, ending a scoring slump that spanned 11 games.
