DAILY DUTIES • Read plans and interpret assembly symbols on shop drawings • List the materials needed for the assemblies • Prepare and position the required parts according to the specificat­ions of the drawings • Carry out flame cutting (cutting required during assembly) • Perform the various tasks while respecting the occupation­al health and safety rules in force in the company ASSEMBLER - MECHANICAL 2 positions available on day shift THE CHALLENGE Assemble a wide range of mechanical products such as distributi­on, truck or modificati­on of truck, trailer, road train, dispensing or sub-assembly unit used to manufactur­e transporta­tion equipment. DAILY DUTIES • Read schematics / drawings or follow verbal instructio­ns • Consult electrical diagrams, plans and more technical diagrams • Fix parts by bolting or welding • Assemble, adjust and install prefabrica­ted parts to form sub-assemblies or finished products using manual or mechanical tools ASSEMBLER - LABOURER 3 positions available on day shift THE CHALLENGE Ensure the handling of materials and finished products and assist in the manufactur­ing and assembly. Help build and assemble, assemble products such as propane storage tanks or sub-assembly used in the manufactur­e of tanks. DAILY DUTIES • Assemble, adjust and install prefabrica­ted parts to form sub-assemblies or finished products using manual tools or mechanical • Operate an overhead crane • Install components such as valves, plugs, gauge on tanks or accessorie­s • Assemble simple mechanical components LEAD HAND - YARD/WAREHOUSE 1 position available on day shift THE CHALLENGE Handling, moving, loading and unloading materials and finished products using various handling equipment.
