CLASSIFIED E10 Saturday, November 10, 2018 CALGARY HERALD Obituaries In Memoriams REINHOLZ, Hugo Bruce October 16, 1931 - Ponoka, Alberta November 7, 2018 - Calgary, Alberta MACKENZIE, Audrey Patricia (nee Clendenning) If lo9ifb –e–ory of Affie Jeaf Lofb Bruce, beloved husband of Joanna (Yvonne) Reinholz (nee Samchek), of Calgary, AB, passed away on November 7, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Bruce was born October 16, 1931 and raised on the family farm in the Bismark Community west of Ponoka, AB. He was the youngest of four siblings (Erhard, Amalia, and Alfred). He graduated from Concordia College in Edmonton and then moved to Calgary. He married Yvonne on October 10, 1959. Bruce was deeply committed to his family and church. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur in the Calgary business community for over fifty years. Bruce was a charter member and the charter president of Foothills Lutheran Church and was very active in establishing and growing the congregation and the church. He was a loving husband, proud father, and a very proud grandfather. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Yvonne; two sons, Brad (Catherine) and Doug (Michelle); four grandchildren, Carolyn, Jacqueline, Kayla, and Aidan; and his sister Amalia (Molly) of Edmonton. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Emil and Hulda Reinholz and brothers, Alfred Reynolds and Erhard Reinholz. A Memorial Service will be held at Foothills Lutheran Church (3104 34th Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Bode officiating. Love Valerie, Linda, Barbara, Vincent, Grant & Katie Audrey Mackenzie of Calgary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Beloved mom of Heather (Joel Elias) and Barbra, and cherished Granny of Tamatha Gelean (Patrick Simpson). Audrey loved her family. She also loved books, crafts, knitting, her pets and cooking for the family (especially her Sunday dinners). Audrey had many fond memories of her service to veterans during her position as manager of the 286 Legion in Calgary. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Robert was the son of the late Bert and Helen Silver, and is survived by Sharon (Michael) Brawn, Scarlett (David) Neill, Al (Shannon) Silver, and uncle to Kari, Lisa, Tosha, Brian and Simon. He had a special relationship with his cousins Arlene and Shannon. Robert had many challenges, was deeply loved and will be missed by family, cousins and friends who loved his many witticisms.
