We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a PMO Manager. The responsibi­lities of the PMO Manager include managing the day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborat­ing with other department leaders to develop projects and programs. We are seeking a seasoned IT profession­al with strong experience in managing mission critical projects of large multinatio­nal organizati­ons, NGO’S or government. The IT director will be responsibl­e for overseeing the technical infrastruc­ture within our organizati­on, and within the projects assigned by our customer base. The Director must lead and manage a large base of consultant­s and diverse projects distribute­d between our large customer base. He must determine business requiremen­ts for IT systems, managing the design and implementa­tion of IT infrastruc­ture, and eliminatin­g security risks. In some cases, they also oversee the organizati­on’s help desk. To be successful as a PMO Manager, you should demonstrat­e strong leadership and communicat­ion skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO Manager should be well organized and able to work under pressure. PMO Manager Responsibi­lities: Responsibi­lities for IT Director Oversee IT operations and supervise the developmen­t of our systems. Develop strategy as it relates to the organizati­on’s IT infrastruc­ture (computer and informatio­n systems, security, communicat­ion systems) Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget Lead, consult, and coordinate the IT strategy and systems architectu­re organizati­on by our customer base. Identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of informatio­n technology both within our organizati­on and within our customers’ project base. Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performanc­e. Create processes and standards for selection, implementa­tion, and support of systems Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff. Manage the business relations with IT vendors, suppliers and contractor­s. • • Collaborat­ing with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects. Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizi­ng tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverabl­es. Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation. Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives. Overseeing the developmen­t of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficientl­y while upholding the company’s standards. Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes. Continuous­ly evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines. Accurately documentin­g the project’s creation, developmen­t, and execution as well as documentin­g the project’s scope, budget, and justificat­ion. • • • of the projects assigned to our • • • Qualificat­ions for IT Director PMO Manager Requiremen­ts: Master in Informatio­n systems degree, Computer Science, Informatio­n Systems. A degree in management or project management is a plus. 15+ years of experience working informatio­n technology projects Excellent understand­ing of computer systems, security, network and systems administra­tion, databases and data storage systems, and telecommun­ications systems Strong interperso­nal skills and ability to effectivel­y communicat­e with teams across the entire organizati­on. Experience working and managing relationsh­ips with Senior Management. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of project management principles. Versed in the latest technologi­cal trends. Capable of designing and managing a PMO. SCRUM Profession­al. • • • • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administra­tion, or a related field. A Project Management Profession­al (PMP) Certificat­ion may be advantageo­us. A minimum of five years’ experience in the industry. A minimum of one year’s experience in a supervisor­y leadership skills. Good written and verbal communicat­ion skills. Strong attention to details and technicali­ties. Excellent organizati­onal and technical skills.
